This picture shows the structure of both a guitar and piano and it explains how the notes are lined up by pitch and frequency on each instrument therefore if you have a standard piano with the starting white key "c" the third white key would be an "e" and the frequency would be the same as on a standard 6 string guitar in standard "e" tuning however the piano would have a lower pitch so you would move up an octave or more to get the same pitch as a guitar in standard "e" tuning Learning, Guitar, Music, Learn Guitar, Pitch, Music Lessons, Standard, Diagram, Piano Studio

Music is a vital role in theatre production. All sounds travel in waves. Most theatre productions now use speakers and digital audio systems to project the music. However, some places still use bands, orchestras, choirs, and instrumentation for the music. In order to the get the recording that theatres will use, instrumentation to make the recording. Sound waves are created by vibration, and the vibration is what makes an instrument make its sound. The Simpsons, Art, Music Quotes, Reggaeton, Songs, Music Headphones, Listening To Music, Musica

Percussion plays a crucial role with anything involving music, (Unless its a solo or something). When a timpani drum is hit, the drum head vibrates, and the sound echos inside the drum shell, creating the rumbling sounds you hear when the timpani is played. The flute is a very popular instrument and is played by blowing air across a plate. The flute operates unlike most instruments. Most instruments are played by creating a vibration while blowing into a mouthpiece or into a reed, but how ever, flutes are played by blowing across a small embochure hole. The air bounces off the walls of the flute, creating the sound vibration waves. Waves, Popular, Flute, Instruments, Flutes, Vibrator

The French horn is operated differently than most brass instruments. Instead of using piston valves to change the note, they use rotary valves. Rotary valves do not use springs to function, but instead they use triggers. When the valve trigger is pressed, a nylon string turns the valve. When the trigger is released, the valve will turn back into its original position. Horn, Rotary, Valve, Turn Ons, French Horn

The coronet is not a widely used instrument and has become rare in high school bands. They are played by buzzing and blowing air through a mouthpiece and the air travels through the horn. To play the mellophone, the player must buzz their lips together and blow air into a mouthpiece. The air vibrates through the mouth piece and through the rest of instrument. To change the notes, the player will press a combination of valves. The vibrating air will go through a different path, thus the sound of the note changing. The vibrating air will continue to go out through the horn, until it makes its way out of the bell, and you can now hear the sound that the mellophone player is making.
