Brazilian Wandering Spider Unlike most spiders who just cast a web and wait for dinner to arrive, these spiders actually get out of the house to hunt down their prey after dark. Brazilian Wandering Spiders like hiding near human dwellings – houses, cars, your boots – so they occasionally find themselves being provoked into attacking. Since their venom can be deadly, you probably want to keep an eye out for these guys the next time you visit South America. Huge Spiders, Spiders Scary, Scary Animals, Animals Bugs, Halloween Spider

Top 10 Myths About Spiders
Bolas Spiders (Ordgarius hobsoni) are unusual orb-weaver spiders that do not spin the typical web. Instead, they hunt by using a sticky 'capture blob' of silk on the end of a line, known as a 'bolas'. By swinging the bolas at flying male moths or moth flies nearby, the spider may snag its prey rather like a fisherman snagging a fish on a hook. This is good to know. TIP for ants: Get Rid of Ants: Put small piles of cornmeal where you see ants. They eat it, take it 'home,' can't digest it so it kills them. It may take a week or so, especially if it rains, but it works and you don't have the worry about pets or small children being harmed!
