Art Deco Architecture
Located in Tulsa, Okla., the Fire Alarm Building was designed by Frederick Kershner with influences from ancient Mayan temples. Built in 1931, the building served as the central reporting station for the Tulsa Fire Department. The bold exterior decorations mainly featuring dragons and continues the fire-related motifs along all sides of the building. The flat roof and geometrical additions also encompass the art deco style.
