Menelaus Loudemis (born as Dimitris Valassoglou, changed to Valassiadis, in Constantinople in 1912 - died in Athens on Jan. 22, 1967) - Greek author known for his short stories. He was earlier in his life engaged in many menial labor tasks, which eventually influenced his writings. He became friends with Sikelianos, Varnalis and Malakassis.
