Paint samples work perfectly to represent the different levels, but if you don’t have any on hand you can always use layers of paper. When we were finished with this activity we had learned what type of animals live at different depths, what the different zones are called, and had a cute craft to help us remember and decorate our wall.

Whenever colorful candy Skittles are involved my kid’s are always willing participants to whatever we are doing. Since we have been working on higher number counting (which honestly can be a bit boring), I put together a fun basketball themed free printable to make counting to 100 a fun game. You can play our counting game while watching a basketball game with your family or grab a dice to play anytime.
