My Natural is BEAUTIFUL
Often referred to as "nappy, kinky, buckshots, beady beads, etc., African Americans with thick coarse hair were considered to have "bad hair". And those that had slick, soft wavy hair, were considered to have "good hair." I can only assume that this term would come from someone that's unfamiliar with black hair. When allowed to grow naturally without chemicals and damaging hairstyles, healthy black hair will grow long and thick. So what's so bad about my "beautiful natural hair"?
