The Basilica Catedral de Lima y Primada del Perú or simply Catedral de Lima is the largest church in Peru. It is located in the historic center of Lima. The Cathedral is included as a World Heritage Site in the historic center of Lima and is essential to visit when sightseeing in Peru. With a quadrangular design, it resembles the model of the Seville Cathedral. The style is neoclassical, although it has constructive and decorative elements that range from the late Gothic style, to the style called "plateresque". The two tall towers, with slate roofs, are neoclassical, with stylistic influences from the "El Escorial" school and Northern Europe.
