El Greco

A board dedicated to Doménikos Theotokópoulos, the great Master (1541-1614) who began his career as an Byzantine icon painter in his native Crete, trained in "western" Renaissance painting styles and worked in Italy and Spain, going on to become one of the greatest art influencers of all time.
