Restoring History: Freston Tower’s Tudor Charm Reimagined with bronze windows
The magnificent Freston Tower, a six-storey Tudor folly dating back to the 1500s, stands proudly on the banks of the River Orwell. Under the care of the Landmark Trust, this remarkable historic structure was enhanced with our windows featuring traditional leaded antique glass supported by twisted saddlebars internally. We take pride in contributing to numerous prestigious and award-winning restoration projects. Bronze remains a standout material in conservation work, striking the perfect balance between preserving historic character and enhancing thermal efficiency.

Bespoke heritage windows fit seamlessly into stone surrounds
Founded in 1848 and situated within several hundred acres of the South Downs National Park in West Sussex, the esteemed Lancing College is steeped in history, with many of its campus buildings recognised as listed structures. In keeping with the Gothic style of the architecture, a range of heritage windows were supplied, including small quatrefoil windows and units with tightly curved trefoil-shaped heads. These were carefully crafted to fit precisely within the original sandstone surrounds, complete with finely detailed leadwork. This meticulous attention to detail enhances the school’s sense of tradition and architectural distinction.
