13 years ago I was in Mexico and I got a massage. I had just had my 3rd daughter in 4 years. My body had been pregnant, birthing and feeding non stop. My body didn’t feel hospitable to me. I was in “go” mode. Doing my best and feeling my worst. The masseuse didn’t use a sheet. And I was not clothed. I’m normally comfortably naked and with my non American upbringing - I’m not squeamish about nudity. But still it was hard to be seen because I felt so icky in the changes of my postpartum body....
