This bridal costume was worn in the 10 villages on the plain northeast of Naousa. In a simplified version without bridal ornaments, it was the everyday dress of the women of Episkopi, and an even simpler version was worn by the elderly (widows). It consists of a long white chemise, the kamouhas, with embroidered decoration, the sayias worn over the chemise, and the fouta, an apron with interwoven decoration, at the waist.
