Half marathon training reminder.

Still trying to beat that voice."It's very hard in the beginning to understand that the whole idea is not to beat the other runners. Eventually you learn that the competition is against the little voice inside you that wants you to quit.

It hurts, but that's all it does. The most difficult part of the training is training your mind. You build calluses on your feet to endure the road. You build calluses on your mind to endure the pain.

Remember this

"There will be a day when I can no longer do this, That day is not today." At I have had this thought. Is is worth it? How long can I really keep it up? Then, I realize that, the better shape I am in, the better shape I will stay in.
