Placing a TV Over Your Fireplace: Design Ideas

I’ve always been very anti-hanging your TV over the fireplace. It’s a big decorating no-no. And it’s definitely not the best of viewing angles. But the house that we recently moved to has a fairly small family room where the four five (dog included) of us are smooshed together on a small sofa when we watch TV. Meanwhile, our living room, which is quite large and has a pretty wood-burning fireplace, sits unused 98% of the time. So I’m thinking…wouldn’t it make the most sense to turn our hard...
