Sezary syndrome = peripheral MF. Cerebiform T lymphocytes. Incidence of circulating Sezary cells is highest when patient has erthyroderma (90% have them) and lowest in localized MF. Even though cells are in the blood, NOT usually in the BM! For MF, there is often LAD but the nodes only show dermatopathic LAD with malignant cells coming in later. IHC = CD 2, 3, 4 and 5 positive. CD7+/-, 8 and 25. progression of disease result to progressive loss of CD7 then CD5
