Sweet little christmas Tin Candy Box from the 1930s. Tin is in very good vintage condition. Colors and graphic are bright. There is rust on the inside and bottom, also some rust on the outside with a couple minor dents. Top of box is more faded then the sides. See photos for condition, sold as is. Box measures 4 3/4" x 2 3/8 x 2 1/2". Has hinged lid and handel, both work well. Fun antique piece to display and enjoy for years to come. From a smoke free home. Thank you for looking, Sue

Measurements: 5" x 7" x 3.25" Made of woven bamboo with bronze hinges, handles, and clasp. Corners are protected with hand sewn triangles of leather. The bronze clasp is delicately engraved with a design of dots. Some of the engraving is worn away where the bronze pin was repeatedly inserted and removed. This is an exceptional and rare french lunch box with its warmer , from 1800s . I just adore the shape and patina on this old beautiful box. The lower part is riveted and cutting for oven drawer is just splendid !! In fact it was used to keep warm Chestnuts .
