Patrick Wayne Swayze (Houston (Texas), 18 augustus 1952 – Los Angeles (Californië), 14 september 2009) was een Amerikaans acteur, danser en singer-songwriter. Op 5 maart 2008 werd door een woordvoerder van Swayze bekendgemaakt dat hij alvleesklierkanker had. De woordvoerder ontkende dat de acteur nog maar kort te leven zou hebben. Zijn toestand verslechterde echter en anderhalf jaar later, op 14 september 2009, overleed Swayze op 57-jarige leeftijd.
