Although I do love a good jamón y queso croissant or digging into some paella, I have to say my favorite Catalan food so far without a doubt has to be patatas bravas. These fried (sometimes boiled or baked) slivers of heavenly potatoes smothered in a creamy cooling sauce and a spicy bravas salsa makes for a perfect dish. And as I’ve tried the bravas around Barcelona, there’s actually quite a variation into how they’re served, making each patatas bravas unique but equally delicious. Even though it may seem simple, the traditional pan con tomate that you can order at almost any restaurant here in Barcelona and that we cooked during the tapas workshop is still my favorite. You begin by toasting your fresh bread (which is so amazing here in Spain) and rubbing garlic and tomato on it. It seems simple, but because it is such a common item here and the bread and tomatoes are fresh, it tastes amazing. Fresh Bread, Spain, Cooking, Tomatoes, Ethnic Recipes

So once you’ve visited all the “TOP 10 PARIS LOCATIONS TO SEE NOW,” why not look around at some of the more discreet — but still beautiful — spots in Paris? Although I have noticed in my time in the Czech Republic that the cuisine itself does not offer many vegetarian options, the country is progressive enough to offer options for various diets. I thought this dream would become a reality spring of 2020 when I was studying abroad in Torino, Italy, but unfortunately COVID canceled our plans. But a young girl named Donna once said “Life is short, the world is wide. I want to make some memories." Which is why I decided to study abroad again in Rome with CEA, and this time Greece was at the top of my bucket list.
