FO Friday: Palomar Top
Alright, time for a rarer-then-I would like FO Friday post: I finished the Palomar Top! I've been knitting this up for the folks over at KNITMuch, and, it's done (just in time for the summer heat, too!) The pattern is the (free) Palomar Top from Universal Yarns. I would never have found it if it wasn't for the folks at KNITMuch pointing me in this direction, and, I love it! The only thing I'm not sure about is the I-cord ties at the side seam, but, I've had several other people tell me they think it's the coolest thing about the pattern, so, maybe that's just me?
Garden Lace Socks: Knit-Along and Pattern Sale! July 2025
The Garden Lace Socks pattern sale and knit-along is live for July 2025! These socks come from several ideas, but the biggest one was the idea of travelling lace leaves. I fell in love with this motif the first time I saw it, and this seemed the perfect place to use it! When I was working the partial garter rib, it reminded of a newly sown garden, all in neat lines. Hence, the name of the socks was a relatively easy choice!
Ice Cream Sundae Socks - June 2025 Knit-Along and 50% off Pattern Sale!
These socks were the result of playing with yarn and stitch dictionaries. I wanted a stitch pattern that would show off variegated yarn and keep it from being 'ugly'. The Ice Cream Sundae Socks were the result! These socks are knit from the cuff-down, with either double-pointed needles or the Magic Loop method. They use a heel flap and gusset heel, with a slip-stitch heel flap for additional durability. The instructions are written; the lace pattern is both charted and written. Instructions are given for two sizes. Knit-Along and Pattern Sale ends June 30, 2025
