1982 Beauty Editorial for Linea Italia Magazine, Mark Arbeit -the photographer, showed my small sketches for this series to the Beauty Director, who surprisingly said was interested to see this. I wanted to create a minimalist abstract type of beauty, inspired by artists like Kasmir Malevich. We shot on real film so No retouching, Mark used a technique of shooting E6 film processed C41 which dramatically pushed contrast and colours. my first proper Beauty Editorial, where the magazine trusted my vision. The photographer Mark Arbeit, shot this in his flat in Milan the Day Italy won the World Cup. It was photographed on film, with no retouching, just E6 film processsed C41, the models faces were shot against white and black vinyl to make a continuous background.
