Moana Birthday Party Ideas
One of the best parts of being a mom is making your child’s dreams come true, and it felt so special to make some magic for her. I went wild with the decor but she really gets it, and after the year she had, I couldn’t imagine not celebrating her in a big way. Her reaction was worth the hours I spent scouring the internet for Moana birthday party ideas. And what I put together felt pretty magical.
I would have rolled my eyes so hard at this one before having kids. You take them to a restaurant, duh. Yes, you could just take your kids out and hope for the best. But why not set them (and yourself) up for a nice time? I’ve learned that the trick to doing anything with kids (especially toddlers – they’re fun) is setting the bar really low. Expect a meltdown or two, and be pleasantly surprised when there isn’t one. With Mother’s Day just one day away, I want to share this (old) post about loss and hope on Mother’s Day. It was written when I was pregnant with my first daughter, and now, four years later, I’m a mom to two girls. This is a day that has historically been hard for me. When I see people’s posts about their moms, I am reminded of a tremendous loss and a lot of pain. It’s gotten better, but it’s still hard. So here is a post about Loss and Hope on Mother's Day. With Mother’s Day just one day away, I want to share this (old) post about loss and hope on Mother’s Day. It was written when I was pregnant with my first daughter, and now, four years later, I’m a mom to two girls. But something big is missing and there’s a lot of pain around this day. Sharing my story has helped some of you feel less alone and it’s given some meaning to what I’ve gone through.

Our Favorite Classic Baby Names - Danielle Moss
I’ve been asked to share my favorite names for both girls and boys, and even though Kate was at the top of my list since high school, I wasn’t able to fully commit until after she was born. Everyone (family and friends) knew she’d be Kate. I knew she’d be Kate but just couldn’t do it. There have been a lot of questions about how we chose Margot’s name along with requests for the list of the classic baby names we considered for both girls and boys, too, so I thought I’d put them all in one place.

Mother's Day Gift Ideas
It wasn’t until I became a mom that this day became a happy one for me. I didn’t have that mother-daughter relationship I dreamed of, but I now get to have it with my girls. Good moms (and those who fill those roles for us ) are amazing and deserve to be celebrated. Here are my favorite Mother’s Day gift ideas for the moms in your life.
Today I’m talking about finding your purpose and becoming who you were meant to be. It took my daughter getting sick for me to realize how much things really needed to change in my life, both personally and professionally. To find my purpose, live the life I was meant to live, and become who I was meant to be. I hope that by sharing my story, you will open your eyes a little wider, the way I wish I had before I wasn’t given a choice. Why I'm Glad I Started a Family Later In Life (and Something I've Never Admitted) - Danielle Moss
I always knew that I wanted to be a mom, but things didn’t line up until my mid 30s. Some would argue that thirty-five isn’t late and I would agree, but science and doctors tell us otherwise. There are things we have to consider, like declining fertility and egg quality. But don’t we also have to consider our careers, finances, finding the right partner, and our mental health?

Transitioning Your Toddler from a Bottle to a Sippy Cup - Danielle Moss
Most of my friends transitioned from bottles to cups right when their babies turned one, but that didn’t feel right for us (ok, me) for a number of reasons. A reminder there’s no right way to do anything when it comes to parenthood. We can listen to other parents’ stories and learn from them, but our babies will all react differently and we have to follow their cues, even if that means doing things differently. But it always helps me to hear from other moms, so here’s our story.

Toddler Bath Time Essentials - Danielle Moss
Bath time can either be super sweet or difficult. To avoid this, get your kids involved! My 19 month old loves throwing her toys in the tub as the water runs, likes helping clean up, and loves choosing her pajamas after bath time. Here are some of the things we love and use during bath time.
