This movement demonstrates the importance of pelvic floor stability and strength during pregnancy and to aid in the delivery and recovery process.

Pregnant or not this is a favorite of mine that my clients and I call "Clam". I'm featuring it as a "prenatal" exercise because the body position is easy for expectant moms. It's easy to get on and off of the elevated box. Plus what lady doesn't want a little outer thigh I'm careful not to slouch into my resting shoulder but lift out of the shoulder girdle keeping the armpit hollow. I am using 1 red and 1 blue spring with the short strap around my knee. I typically do 10 reps of each vari

Here's a yummy sequence I came up with for @pilatesanytimeus, and filmed when I was 8 months pregnant. It's a great series to strengthen the upper back, posterior shoulders, and core while offering just enough support and working on improving posture.
