Belt clasp, copper alloy (?), formed of two oblong plates and a central disc with scalloped flange above and below, all with repoussé decoration of rosettes and foliate motifs, inlaid at intervals with a black composition, possibly paint. The clasp fastens with a hook beneath the central disc and a long chain which slots through a cylinder at the back to keep the two parts rigid.  Bugaria  19thC
