Nautical and Nice. Life preservers are lightweight and easy to suspend, and especially effective when used in window displays. You can spray-paint them or use various colors of electrical and duct tapes available at most craft and home improvement stores. Ropes add a nautical touch and provide a means of attaching products and accessories to the props.
Hanging things you can see through means more display space, no loss of visibility. ( THIS is a good example of a BAD window display. The sight leak is really bad, muddies the presentation and you quickly forget what is in the window and you end up looking at the square boxy fixture in the back of the darkened store. JWF )
