Μηδέν Ένα | mi'ðen 'ena by DEZONE

MΗΔΕΝ ΕΝΑ (mi'ðen 'ena) could have been located in Irene Square at Monastiraki, right opposite Carlier Gebauer gallery in Berlin, or exactly where it really is: in central Corinth, Greece. It expresses the intentions of the designer, Tasos Christofilopoulos, and his clients to create a contemporary, elegant and welcoming space, going beyond the design standards of an era which is gradually bidding farewell to the urban forms of entertainment. http://www.facebook.com/dezone.services?ref=ts&fr

Aiming to transform, give life, and produce ground-breaking design details for ΜΗΔΕΝ ΕΝΑ and its potential customers, Dezone applied the principles of up-cycling in creating certain objects. Pails transformed into pendant lights, griddle plates into table surfaces, rusted boat lights into bar lights, and, last but not least, left out wood and nails were artfully used to create the sign of ΜΗΔΕΝ ΕΝΑ.

Drawing inspiration from its principle to create human-centric spaces, Dezone implemented a concept which recognizes man as the creator and a sine qua non element of the urban environment. Therefore, Dezone created 3D modern art objects, such as the 3 meters of height custom made steelwork, depicting a couple (King and Queen) as well as the abstract, extruded face, which was made out of left out wood, with respect to the environment and up-cycling procedures.

The wooden and metallic ‘used’ furniture, as well as the stencil stamped counter and the stands were inserted in order to supplement the main concept.
