Atlanta-based Southern Airways was the last major airline to use the Martin 4-0-4. Altogether 18 aircraft served with the company, with scheduled routes radiating from Atlanta to Dothan, Columbus, Huntsville, Panama City and Muscle Shoals from October 1961 onwards.
