Don't be concerned, the Highlander's ears are supposed to look like that. The breed's origins can be traced back to the highland lynx, along with the desert lynx and jungle curl. This wild ancestry gives the Highlander a "big cat" look. It also means that the cat has some extra energy to burn off.
