Martyr Eustathius of Mtskheta was Persian. He converted to Christianity & moved to Georgia during Persia rule. He was arrested for being Christian, he endured many tortures by the marzban who ordered to shave the St's & other captives’ heads & beards, bore holes in their noses, hang weights round their necks, fetter their bodies in chains & cast them into prison, they were in confinement for 6 months. After a new ruler, the st. was freed. 3 years later another marzban had Eustathius beheaded
