Ο Άρης Κωνσταντινίδης (Αθήνα,1913 - Αθήνα,1993 ) ήταν Έλληνας αρχιτέκτονας της μεταπολεμικής αρχιτεκτονικής. Η αρχιτεκτονική του Άρη Κωνσταντινίδη στηρίζεται στην άνεση αλλά και τη λειτουργικότητα των χώρων, την ορθολογική διάταξη της κάτοψης, την ένταξη στο περιβάλλον, την κατασκευαστική αρτιότητα και την ιδιαίτερη ανάδειξη κάθε κατασκευαστικού υλικού. Διαμορφώνει μια σαφή αρχιτεκτονική γλώσσα, μέσα από την οποία χτίζει «Δοχεία Ζωής»,όπως ορίζει ο ίδιος ο Κωνσταντινίδης τα έργα του…

Niki Goulandris is a philanthropist and a  botanical painter.She is vice-president of the Goulandris Natural History Museum and Goulandris Museum of Cycladic Art,former deputy minister for Social Services and member of the World Commission on Culture and Development of UNESCO.She was married to Angelos Goulandris,of the wealthy ship-owning family, with whom she established the Goulandris Natural History Museum in 1964.She has maintained her independent spirit and inquiring mind up to now.

Her paper promoted women writers and recovered women's history. She  founded the Lyceum of Greek Women in 1911 and successfully lobbied  for women's admittance to the University of Athens.
