Interview with Anne Rice: 'Vampire' writer talks about creating characters and stories you can sink your teeth into

Anne Rice (Author of the truly beautiful and poetic dark literature of The Vampire Chronicles, Lives of the Mayfair Witches and The Wolf Gift Chronicles)

that feeling when you awake to that new belief... that no intense joy comes without intense suffering...

It's an awful truth that suffering can deepen us, give a greater lustre to our colours, a richer resonance to our words. That is if it doesn't destroy us ." - Anne RIce, Queen of the Damned

The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice the only vampire series worth reading imo

I have the First three: Interview with., The Vampire Lestat, and Queen of the Damned; But really want the rest of collection and she has new book coming out in October this year.

I've always felt this way. Good or bad, it's just how I am.

Anne Rice — 'I feel like an outsider, and I always will feel like one.

Anne Rice did iconize Louisiana as the capital of vampirism with her books, so yes, "dammit Lestat" is right.

Rituals that involve the ingestion of blood, urine, or fecal matter are not allowed. < So, Lestat, let's just do it on the spur of the moment.

Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice

Interview With The Vampire Novel. My senior year reading project was based on this book.

In my humble opinion, its the best series Anne Rice has written and I have read almost all of them.

5 spellbinding novels for the season of the witch

The Witching hour by Anne Rice, first in the "lives of the Mayfair witches" series, WONDERFUL (yet large, lol) book! Totally worth the time spent reading it. Anne Rice creates a world that is like no other.
