Dumbo Octopus

Dumbo Octopuses are named because of their ear-like fins coming out of their heads. They live in the extreme depths of the water, some living 7000 meters below sea level. Unlike other octopuses, they swallow their food whole! SO CUTE!

Nautiluses are the sole living cephalopods whose bony body structure is externalized as a shell. The animal can withdraw completely into its shell and close the opening with a leathery hood formed from two specially folded tentacles.

The Pacific blackdragon is a deep sea fish, that can be found up to depths of up to 3,300 ft. Female blackdragons are about two feet long and have fang like teeth and a long chin whisker. They are black on the outside, aswell as on the inside to prevent light from swallowed bio-luminescent prey shining out. The males are small, about three inches in length, and brownish in color.
