Pg. 111 "Everyone in the crew had a specific job..." This relates to the part in the book where Wes had first entered the drug dealing game. There were many different roles. Wes thought that some positions were worse than others. Wes was only the look out he didn't actually get to see the drugs. So he thought what he was doing wasn't that bad. Little did he know every little part is considered the worst. Wes could still get locked up then, he just wouldn't be charged as badly as others.
Cocaine related chest pain::: caused by increased myocardial oxygen demand + vasoconstriction + prothrombotic state... these patients have an increased risk of MI and aortic dissection... these patients should be given BENXODIAZEPINES early (they resolve HTN and tachycardia)... avoid Beta blockers here because they will cause vasospasm via unopposed alpha stimulation
Drugs are so taboo, people are ignorant of the positive effects they can have. Of course there are negatives too, but that doesn't mean just because a substance is labelled a 'Drug' it's automatically bad. Weed is a plant. Do your research!
