The llama is a South American relative of the camel, though the llama does not have a hump. Typically, they are saddled with loads of 50 to 75 pounds. Under such weight they can cover up to 20 miles in a single day! Cute faces!
Llamas are such interesting characters. This pic reminds me of Ginger. If she saw me working at the top of the hill, she would hike all the way up just to say "hello". I miss her. Looking forward to adding llamas to the farm again someday :)
