Matthew 24 - Jesus speaks about the "last days of Jerusalem (A.D. 70 destruction foretold) "Truly I tell you, by no means will a stone be left here upon a stone and not be thrown down." Then he is asked what the SIGN of his second "presence" (parousia = Greek) will be, and of the conclusion of the system of things". Jesus lists many signs (Matt. 24; Luke 21; Mark 13) and Paul lists some at 2 Timothy 3:1-5. The "last days" began in 1914 C.E. See jw.org
When we look at the world around us, we see sin in every hand. Fewer and fewer people are willing to obey the gospel, choosing rather to enjoy the pleasures of sin. This was the situation in the world during the time of Noah just before God destroyed the world with water. During this time, the only faithful people were Noah and his family. No one would listen to the teachings of Noah. Jesus said: (Matthew 24:37-39 37) “For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. .....

Matthew 24:12–14 Because iniquity will be multiplied, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end, the same will be saved. This Good News of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.

Matthew 24:37-41. People use this verse to "prove" pre-trib rapture. But the "taking away" occurs as Christ is returning: we meet Him in the air & return to earth WITH Him! DON'T BE MISLED BY THE GREAT APOSTATE CHURCH!!! Christians will be under God's protection during The Great Tribulation, but we WILL be here, not magically whisked to heaven, a recent non-Biblical belief that was introduced 200 yrs ago by Scofield & Darby.
