Macedonian Lion: on 8-02-338 BC, the Macedonians defeated the Greeks at Chaeronea in central Greece and conquered their country. They erected an impressive sculpture of a proud-standing lion on the battlefield. The same lion sculpture is also found in the Macedonian city of Amphipolis
