A gilt lacquered bronze figure of Sakyamuni Buddha Burma, 19th century. Cm 16,00 x 36,20.

Very large and superb 17thC Laos Bronze Buddha. In outstanding condition. Classic example of its type. Much of clay core scooped out although some still remains. Purchased from an old European collection. Very rare to find such an example in this size for an affordable price anymore--wonderful face glows with joy! Measures 24.25 inches tall x 12.5 inches wide x 8.75 inches deep (total piece). Base is integrated.
