STEP 3 - forcefully push (with pliers) the hot screw tip into the center of the eye.  Bear in mind that you do not want to go through the eye mechanism ball, just the chip. Gauge how deep that will be - like 1/8 of an inch.  If it does not go in "like melted butter", reheat your screw.
