Armor_Menpo
Menpo, possibly by Ryoei, the famous Edo period armourer who specialized in kabuto and menpo hammered from a single piece of iron. There are a few of his menpo in Katchu Men and also in Burawoy's Armuriers du Japon. He never signed his work, so all of his works are attributions. From "The Manufacture of Armour and Helmets in 16th century Japan": (Ryoei) Art name of Ohara Katsunari. His skill is regarded as unrivalled even by that of Myochin Muneakira.
