CAF Dakota (that started life as R4D-1) 10912 over Trenton shortly after it got its new CAF livery. This aircraft known by many IDs. It is construction number 4441, then USN R4D-1 01985, then US civilian registration NC4806N, then to the RCAF as 10912, then re-registered as 12967, then to the civilian registration again but this time as Canadian CF-BKV, later C-FBKV where its luck finally ran out and it crashed in Pickle Lake, Ont on 12 May 1977 due to an engine fire on take-off (CAF photo)
