With spring just around the corner and the winter blues headed out, it’s time to spruce up my space with some new decor. I figured what better way than to bring the outdoors in with a little DIY hanging planter project. I’ve gathered up all my supplies and you’ll never guess where I found them….The Dollar Tree!

See how I transformed a dark dated bedside table with Heirloom Traditions ALL-IN-ONE paint in Cashmere. I’ve also shared my thoughts (and mistakes) about how to use this product with an easy to follow tutorial. All in one paints are the “thing” today and when you walk the isles of the hardware store you will notice many of these. I’m no stranger to creating my own DIY board and batten. Currently, I’m knee deep in a DIY built in bookshelf feature wall and trying to figure out what to do about the fact that my boards stick out over the baseboard like a sore thumb. I have two options; remove the old baseboard or find a way to blend the end of the boards with the old baseboard. Let me show you a simple way to install board and batten or any wainscoting without removing the baseboards.
Do y’all like to sew? I sewed more in my younger years than I do now. My poor sewing machine hasn’t been out of the box in over a decade. Can I be honest? I don’t miss it. Not that I ever sewed that much to begin with, but I did occasionally hem something when needed. About a year ago I was introduced to a little something called fabric tape. Friends, this was a game changer. Let me show you why with these DIY no sew pillows with tea towels from the target dollar spot.
