Kallirhoe Parren (1861–1940) was a Greek feminist, journalist and writer.She launched the feminist movement with the founding of a newspaper in 1887. Her paper promoted women writers and recovered women's history. She founded the Lyceum of Greek Women in 1911 and successfully lobbied for women's admittance to the University of Athens.
