Here is a great tip for getting yourself started with your next abstract painting 🎨 Having a design format (composition) in mind when you start an abstract painting can be an effective way of avoiding staring at a blank canvas and wondering how to get yourself started. Now, I don’t always have a rigid composition in mind when I begin a painting, however, some of my most dynamic paintings started with a compositional design format in mind before I started applying paint to canvas!
