Standardized testing is stressful, especially when you’re not 100% clear on the differences between the tests and when to take each one.
Engage your students with in-depth discussions about the book or stories that they have read. In this literature circle activity they will have fun creating a Podcast to defend their book/ story choice ! This activity is a template and editable.It can be used for any book. The goal of this project is to facilitate group discussion about short stories or books previously read in class. The teacher will choose between three and five works depending on the complexity of the stories.
Incorporating movement is an important part of developing engaging instruction. With meaningful, deliberate, and structured movement, students can benefit from spatial recall, collaboration, and development of their speaking and listening skills. Some of my favorite opportunities for meaningful motion in the classroom are essential to student engagement, to pairing movement with content, and to developing classroom community. With these strategies, teachers will have creative, fun lessons!
