an orange and white poster with the words chasse in french, on top of it

It's Ballet Term Tuesday 🩰 This week's term is Chassé. A lovely linking movement, taken in the centre. To chassé, simply slide one foot along the floor, ending in a demi-plié. Chassés can be taken in any direction, from any alignment and there are MANY variations - Such as a Chassé temps levé, a coupé chassé pas de bourrée or a Chassé passé for example. #balletterm #balletterms #balletglossary #balletmeanings #ballethowto #balletschool #balletknowledge
