Let's talk about one of my favorite fashion subjects: couture. As you know, couture garments are made-to-order, so the hours have got to add up. New York magazine did some reconnaissance on the process of creating one of the most spectacular dresses of the season: the Chanel finale (yes, the one worn by a pregnant bride!). And, gosh, I'm still in shock trying to process all that time. The dress is actually made out of neoprene, the sporty textile that has been trending—but a scuba gown…
