Ink on paper Liu Ziyu is a Chinese artist born in 1978 who lives and works in Beijing, China. He was graduated in 2020 from from the Stroganov Moscow State Academy of Arts and Industry with a Ph.D. He is a member of the creative Union of Russian Artist and Member of Chinese Arts and Crafts Institute. Mr. Liu Ziyu was born in a family of carvers in Hebei province where people have been carving for generations since the Han Dynasty. His father and his elder brother were both famous local sculptors. In this context, it was natural for the family to think that Liu Ziyu should inherit his ancestral legacy and that sculpture should be his life's path. Therefore at the age of thirteen, Liu Ziyu's family sent him to Beijing to study sculpture.
