I heated and pressed a PVC pipe around the neck of the 5 gallon container to support the weight because the waterer sides were too weak. Remove top of broken waterer to stabilize 5 gal tank (3 gal max fill). Then, I drilled a hole in the PVC pipe barely below the red lip level.
