This hat had stains on the front and even though it didn't have any holes, I thought a colorful patch would be a cute way to wear my love for weaving.  1. Gather your materials. I used embroidery floss but you could also use a thin string or yarn.  2. Attach the darning loom to the area you want to weave. Cut the floss and warp it between the hooks and the fabric.  3. You can easily use embroidery floss scraps to hand weave a fun bookmark. I happened to pick up a few bags of embroidery floss (on spools, in skeins, and scraps on cardboard) at a thrift store, and used it to make a bookmark.
