Dwarf Burford Holly (Ilex cornuta 'Burfordii Nana') Dwarf Burford Holly grows to a perfect 4-6′ high and wide in full or part sun. Rich-green glossy leaves are decorated with bright red berries in fall and winter, and it needs no male plant to produce a full crop that brings color to the holiday season. This variety can be shaped into a perfect hedge. Untrimmed t’s also an attractive and looks great growing beneath large trees.Full Sun-Part Sun | Zones 7-9 | 4-6’H x 4-6’W
Hi to all I have a small back yard and entry (terraced house) which I am trying to turn into a nice area to sit in.I have put old cast iron rain hoppers onto the wall and planted these up( they are doing very well ) All of my plants are in small tubs(roses, hydranga, and annuals) I have built 2 platers size 10ft length 2 foot wide and 2 ft 6 deep I know they are narrow but space was a real issue.
If you want your yard to look good all year round, these evergreen shrubs are the best bushes to plant in your garden. Some have gorgeous flowers and others have interesting foliage. Either way, they'll make your yard look beautiful even in the winter. #fromhousetohome #evergreen #shrubs
A conifer is simply a plant that produces cones. That’s it. They can be deciduous or evergreen, but the vast majority are evergreen. What I love about conifers is the way in which the incredible range of sizes, colors, and textures can be used to enhance the look and feel of any garden, not to mention provide color in the dead of winter plus nesting sites and food sources for birds.
