I made this floss bobbin template for my Cricut to store my embroidery floss skeins. I used heavy cardstock. Here is the template, if you right click the pic you can save it. When you insert the image into your design space make sure the paper is sized for 8.5x11 (or as close to that without going over) and they will come out perfect size Weeding! I strung them on a caribiner clip for easy access. How to wind embroidery floss skeins on to floss bobbins without tangling the string

Step 2: Remove the paper wrapper from the skein and carefully open it up so that the floss makes a loop. Sometimes you'll have to pull part of the string from one side to the other to open up the loop. I write the number of the floss on the bobbin; I also cut a small piece of the string and tape it to the bobbin.
