I have used yellow front tape here but usually use the green because it has a better stick to it. This yellow frog tape is mostly used for delicate areas. 2️⃣ Paint the edge of your tape with your base paint, this helps to seal the edge of the tape to prevent the paint from bleeding. I have used white paint as my base paint because my skirting board and cornice are already painted white. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU LET THE BASE PAINT DRY BEFORE YOU MOVE ON TO THE NEXT STEP. 3️⃣ Paint the Diy Home Projects, Skirting Board, Diy Wall Painting, On To The Next, Paint Line, I Am Done, The Next Step, Painting Tips, Cornice

Plus, let me tell you my own bonus secret for the best lines 💪🏼 Tape clean walls first. Yes the frog tape is worth the price 🐸 First LIGHTLY paint the wall color on the tape edge, so seal off the tape and the wall. Goodbye crevices, wrinkles and gaps that result in paint leakage and jagged lines. Then PAINT your walls. Two coats, yes get the paint and primer in one. Now here is my BONUS: pull the tape ALL OFF as soon as you can. I try to do a whole room in a day so the paint isn’t fully dried/cured. Otherwise if you pull tape off super dry and hard paint— it can peel off WAY more then you ever wanted, and then some. It can be heartbreaking.
